This Autumn, not only can we enjoy the falling of leaves, cooler weather, pumpkin picking, and Thanksgiving, but also Halloween! There’s no better way of spending Halloween than by having a Halloween movie marathon! With some help from thepioneerwoman.com, I have provided a list of the best Halloween movies you can watch with your friends and family.
1. Disney’s Hocus Pocus: “Do three children and a magical cat have what it takes to stop the Sanderson Sisters, three wicked witches who are awakened on Halloween night? Sarah Jessica Parker, Bette Midler, and Kathy Najimy play these iconic villains!”
2. Toy Story Of Terror!: “Buzz, Woody, and the rest of the gang band together once again. But this time, their mission is a little more frightening.”
3. Halloweentown: Halloweentown is one of the best Halloween and autumn-themed movies there are. “What do you think is an ideal gift for a 13-year-old girl? Well, when Marnie reaches the teenage milestone, she receives a magical broom and a tutorial on how to use it!”
4. Twitches: "Twins went two decades without ever meeting. When they accidentally stumble upon each other on their 21st birthday, they discover magical powers they never knew they had.”
5. Monster House: A trio goes to visit a frightening abandoned house in their neighborhood, and ends up learning that the house is alive!
6. The Boy Who Cried Wolf: “When Hunter and Jordan are forced to move to Romania after their family inherits a castle, they discover an even bigger problem than they expected when Jordan transforms into a werewolf.”
7. Liar, Liar, Vampire: “When a shy teen transfers to a new school, he elects to mix things up by playing along with the rumor that he's a vampire.” (summary from Netflix)
